About Tim Utt Architects
Tim is an award-winning architect, practicing in the beautiful Green Mountains of Vermont. His “Modern Farm” was included as a small home design in New Compact House Designs by Don Metz, for Storey Publishing, first printed in 1991. That design is featured in his "In Progress" page.
Tim attended the High School of Music & Art, in New York City, studied sculpture and design at The University of California, Berkeley Campus, and received his professional degree in Architecture from the Boston Architectural Center, where he was awarded the "Dean Arcangelo Casieri Scholarship" for design excellence.
His work ranges from high-end residences, to modest affordable homes. He has designed large post and beam retail stores, renovated old New England Mills,and completed designs for multi-unit senior housing projects. He is currently designing a large cider barn for one of the "world's best" cider makers in the country.
He is a member of the American Institute of Architects (AIA), and holds a certificate from the National Council of Architectural Registration Boards (NCARB).
